At The Massage House, we aim to make balance, relaxation, and a point of tranquility accessible to everyone. We offer Eastern massages as they should be, in a fresh, approachable environment in Amsterdam. Natural and honest. We do this with attention, craftsmanship, and a focus on sustainability. Hospitality, quality, and experience take precedence at The Massage House. We carry out our work with joy and passion alongside our team of hostesses and masseurs.
The Massage House opened in August 2014, and since then, we have experienced significant growth. In addition to our location in Amsterdam-West, we recently opened a second branch on Ceintuurbaan in Amsterdam. Therefore, we are looking for two store managers who can help us achieve our business objectives and make the salons flourish.
Job description
We are seeking a manager who excels in creating an unforgettable customer experience, can guide and coach our team, and manage daily planning. In addition to participating in the team, you will monitor daily operations, ensure the smooth running of the day, and step in when necessary. You will work closely with the owners and, at the same time, have the freedom to run the salon in your own way. We are looking for someone with experience as a masseur and hostess, ready to take the next step in their career. Leadership experience is a plus, but we are primarily looking for someone with positive energy and motivation to develop in this role.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and coach the team to provide a high level of customer service.
* Ensure smooth daily operations of the massage salon.
* Supervise employee schedules and ensure optimal staffing.
* Train and develop staff.
* Monitor the quality of our services and ensure the salon meets the highest standards.
* Manage inventory, supplies, and orders.
* Collaborate with marketing and promotion teams to increase brand awareness and expand the customer base.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment for both customers and employees.
